See What Google and AI Actually See on Your Website

Your site might look perfect in Chrome or on your phone — but many search engines and AI tools fetch your page without running JavaScript. If your words, services, and contact info only appear after scripts load, those crawlers can see a nearly blank page.

Crawler View fetches your URL the same way Bing and most AI crawlers do, then explains in plain English what they can and can't read. We found and fixed this on our own site — that's why this tool exists.

How it works

  1. You enter your website address.
  2. Our server requests the page without running JavaScript — like many automated crawlers do.
  3. We read the raw HTML for titles, text, headings, robots rules, and link previews, then give you a simple grade and top issues.
  4. Optional: share your email for the full 14-point report and fix suggestions.

What this tool can't see

  • JavaScript-loaded content — by design. If your site only fills in after scripts run, this check shows that gap.
  • Personalized or logged-in views — we fetch as an anonymous visitor.
  • Different content by location or device — some sites serve different HTML to different visitors; results reflect one fetch.

FAQ

Who is this tool for?
Local business owners who want to know whether Google, Bing, and AI tools like ChatGPT can actually read their website. You don't need any technical knowledge. Enter your web address, and the tool explains in plain English what search engines and AI crawlers can see, what they're missing, and what to fix first.
Does this run JavaScript like a real browser?
No, on purpose. Many crawlers, including Bing and most AI tools, read your page without running JavaScript. Google can run it, but often later and not always completely. Crawler View fetches your page the same way, so you see the version those crawlers see. If your content only appears after scripts load, this tool will show it.
How is this different from Google Search Console?
Search Console shows how Google indexes your own verified website over time, including clicks, impressions, and errors. Crawler View works instantly on any page with no setup, and it checks things Search Console doesn't, like whether AI crawlers such as ChatGPT's are allowed to read your site. Use both: Crawler View for a quick check, Search Console for ongoing tracking.
Will you store my URL?
We don't keep a list of the pages you check. Our hosting provider keeps standard server and function logs for a limited time. We store a temporary, hourly rate-limit counter tied to your IP address only to prevent abuse of the tool; it is not used to track your browsing. If you request the full report, we keep your name, email, and website so we can send it to you. See our Privacy Policy.
What does my score mean?
Your score, out of 10, shows how much of your page search engines and AI tools can read and understand. 9 to 10 means they can read nearly everything. 6 to 8.9 means important pieces are missing. Below 6 means most of your page is invisible to them. Blocking Google or telling search engines not to index the page limits your score to 3.
Does a perfect score mean I'll rank on Google?
No. A perfect score means search engines and AI tools can read your page, which is the first requirement. Ranking also depends on your content, reviews, links from other websites, your Google Business Profile, and your competition. A low score can hold you back, but a high score alone doesn't guarantee a top spot.
My score is low. What should I do?
Start with the issues at the top of your results. They cost you the most points. Some, like a missing page title or description, are quick fixes. If your content only loads with JavaScript, the fix usually takes a developer. Request the full report for a step-by-step fix list, or ask us about AI SEO Services.
